A Shade of Fort Aguada, GOA

Fort Aguada is a well-preserved seventeenth-century Portuguese fort in Goa, on Sinquerim Beach. It is well known for its fresh water springs within the fort. In early days, the ships that passed by the Aguada fort used this springs to replenish their fresh water reserves. There is also a 4-storey light house (the white structure in the pic above) built by the Portuguese. This is one of a kind light house in the whole of asia. Now it is used a functioning jail in Goa.
